Awami Pakistan Party declares a boycott of K-Electric

KARACHI: According to an ARY News story on Saturday, the recently established Awami Pakistan Party has planned a protest against high electricity costs and protracted load shedding outside K-Electric’s (KE) headquarters in the city tomorrow.

The former head of the PML-N, Miftah Ismail, revealed the news during a press conference and stated that his party will bring their demands to the attention of the government and K-Electric authorities.

The requests include a four-month moratorium on income and sales taxes for domestic consumers, a halt to overbilling and 31st-day meter readings, and a resolution to load shedding and overbilling problems.
